Statement
Art in any form whether it be dance, music or painting
has always been my inspiration in life. In my work, I strive to
reveal true beauty, the beauty which nature has intended us to
see. I strive to represent the natural atmosphere of beauty in
objects and places, creating a mood which also expresses personal
feelings and romanticism. I believe in balanced, pure and serene
composition.
Bio
I completed a three-year program in Contemporary
Art at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in France. Having always admired
realism and traditional painting and influenced by American Impressionism
and the Boston School; I abandoned contemporary and modern art.
So in 1989 I enrolled in the School of The Museum of Fine Arts
for traditional studies with realist painter Joel Babb and then
studied independently with Ed Stitt, a professional Boston artist
and teacher.
